How My Journey Began

I am an adventurer and social butterfly who has never fit into a traditional educational or societal box. I have been diagnosed and treated for ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. As a professional, it has been a joy to continue to learn about these topics in addition to many more, including Autism. As one who, likely similar to you or your child, cannot sit still for long, I have been in the world of education for twelve years at seven schools in three states. I've taught grades 6-12 in English and History as well as tutored students in various subjects, including life skills, study skills, test prep, executive functioning, community skills, and more. I have led in two administrator roles, dean of students and academic dean/instructional coach.

But my favorite part of working with students is helping them gain comfort and confidence in their specific learning experience and having a good time together!
